What do you want from your life? – I have been pondering this question for a while now and the truth is the more I think of it the more I realize how a few people actually know what they want from their life.
What life do you want? what are your dreams? – this year 2016 is almost over and we need to plan for 2017 and while there has been a lot of system and strategies a lot of people put in place I must say one things that has worked for me this year or more correctly the last quarter of the year (you see every year I made goal and I achieved probably just 10% of it till I developed a new system). I was going to plan quarterly goals then break it down to a one month plan then daily plan. BUT even with this system my biggest breakthrough in goal setting never really came until I sat to put specific time slot to those goals for instance if I wanted to write a book I needed to block out a specific time daily to do this else no matter how much I tell myself every day I needed to write it won’t get done because no time allocation has been made in daily agenda – same for every goal I had to find the time to do it and from that analysis I knew where I overextending myself – which I did a lot.
But that majorly is not why I am writing today I writing because I want us all to envision what we want form our life –for me I realize I want more time, my time next year is going to more valuable to me than anything else even above money because that all I have to make any dream come through and because I work a 9-5 job I don’t have much time, so I want more time and more freedom and what I would be driving for throughout 2017.
For You it might be something else but you need to know what it is you want from your life I want you to envision what will make 12 months from now the best you have ever had, that is December 2017 I meet you what would you want to have happened and as you pen all these things down make goals – 90 days, 60 days, 30 days, I week, daily, and time slot to achieve these goals.
And above be thankful for what didn’t happen this year for me that plenty, but in my state of gratitude for the little I was able to achieve I am able to see more clearly why some didn’t and why some were not my fault – life happens to us.
I want to leave you with this: no matter how far the journey is if you will trust yourself to take the first step and no matter how long it may take you if you will be courageous to never stop believing in yourself. you will get there.
I wish you all you want from life
